DueDateBloom ("we", "us") runs duedatebloom.com. Set out below is what we do with information and what you can choose. In one line: your dates and cycle details are handled inside the browser and never leave your device.
Scope of this policy
DueDateBloom does one thing — as a due date and pregnancy week calculator it estimates a due date and the current week of pregnancy from the last period, an ovulation date, an IVF transfer or an ultrasound measurement. It counts forward from whichever dating method you choose using standard obstetric conventions — forty weeks from the last period, or the adjusted dating an IVF transfer or an early scan implies — and reports the fetal size and checkup schedule for that week. What follows concerns only that tool and the inputs involved in it.
Practically, all the calculation needs is your dates and cycle details. Typical reasons people open DueDateBloom include seeing which week you are in following an IVF transfer, and in every case the work happens on the visitor's own device rather than ours.
The inputs you provide
Every result here is produced by JavaScript running in your browser. Your inputs are used only to render the answer on the page: they are not transmitted to a server, stored, sold, or shared. The calculation needs nothing beyond what is already on the page — it simply counts forward from whichever dating method you choose using standard obstetric conventions — forty weeks from the last period.
Automatic technical data
Standard server logs are generated when your browser requests a page. They cover technical details like your IP address, browser, referring URL and timestamps, and are used only to keep the site running and secure. None of it is linked to the input you give the tool.
Cookies, ads and advertising partners
Advertising keeps the site free and is delivered by external networks, which may use cookies or similar technologies to show interest-based ads. Google, as one such partner, lets you opt out through its ad settings. Turning cookies off does not break anything here.
What our statistics cover
We watch which of the DueDateBloom tools get used, in aggregate, so that effort goes where it is useful. That is the extent of it — no individual profile, and no analytics event ever includes the values you entered.
Health data and your measurements
Weight, height, age and body-composition numbers are sensitive enough that they should not travel. On this site they do not: everything is computed locally and discarded when the tab is closed.
Security and data retention
No personal calculation data is held by us at any point, which makes retention a non-issue for the tool. The site itself is delivered over encrypted connections and kept up to date.
Children and the site
Nothing here targets users under 13. If a child has sent personal details through the site, tell us and we will delete them.
Rights you can exercise
You may have statutory rights over personal data — to access, amend, erase or object to its processing, depending on your jurisdiction. You can exercise them by writing to us; in most cases there will be no stored data to act on.
How this policy changes
If the way we handle data ever changes, this page will be revised and the date at the top adjusted accordingly. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Getting in touch about privacy
To ask about privacy, or to exercise a right, the contact page is the way to get through.
